My horses have limited access to grass, so need Vitamin E supplementation. I tried a liquid vitamin E supplement previously that was a pain to feed - I make up dry supplement mixes ahead of time but then had to add the liquid each meal. Plus, all three turned there noses up at the taste of it. A friend recommended Health-E to me, and I am very happy with it. The powdered form is easy to include in my pre-prepped Tupperwares, and it must have a neutral taste since none of the horses seemed to notice the addition. My one horse who has a poor topline showed improved muscling after a few weeks on this.
My rescued Arab mare, whose real age is unknown but has to be in her thirties, has had a horrible time maintaining her weight for the past 3 years. We are managing dental issues, possible neurologic deficits, a worsening heart murmur, PPID, melanomas, a persistent toe crack in one hind hoof, and loss of an eye. She has the best attitude and goofy nature, but I always worry when I go to the barn if this is the day. That day is probably not far off, but after starting her on Health-E, she is showing more weight gain and muscle development than I've seen in so long. Even if she leaves us tomorrow, I am so glad we put her on this stuff. I don't know why other E supplements didn't have this effect, but thank the heavens I tried this one!
I have been using Herio for at least 10 years. My Foxtroter had Metabolic syndrome and eventually Cushing’s. She was put back on grass 24 /7 very shortly after she started taking it. She never got sore feet . Corey came along and he also had metabolic syndrome. I put him on Herio and he also is doing very well on grass 24/7. He was diagnosed with Cushing’s last year. I never had to take him off of grass. I’m so greatful to have found the supplement.
For several years we had issues with other vitamin E supplements that did not provide the support our horses needed. They were constantly testing low despite feeding the products as directed. Plus the liquid products were difficult to administer - particularly in the winter. It was money thrown down the drain. Health-E has moved all our problems! The proof is in the test results. All our horses are now testing well within normal range on just one scoop a day. Plus it's an easy to administer powder that our horses eat without issue. Great product! We only wish it came in an even larger size :)
My older quarter horse gelding was diagnosed with Cushing's 5 years ago. I've been managing it successfully since then. Last summer I noticed he was walking sideways. Called the vet - diagnosed with "Sidewinder's Syndrome". Was told there was nothing we could do, given he was already dealing with Cushing's and had a very arthritic knee on his left front. Equine chiropractic adjustments helped some, but I was giving up hope in helping him. He just stood in his stall and leaned against the rails, as his hind quarters were getting weaker by the day. It took 2 strong men to balance him when the farrier came. In case you are wondering why I let him go for so long - this boy is a fighter. His eyes were telling me he was not ready to go. I got online to see if there was anything out there for him - and I came across this website. Reviewed the products available and was skeptical on how well the Health-E really was, but ordered it anyway after reading the reviews and ingredients. I purchased 60 days worth - and even though I did not see any improvement the first 3 weeks, I started to notice he spent more time outside the stall and in the pasture. After 5 weeks, he was out most of the day and beginning to boss the rest of the herd around again. He was holding his head up a bit higher, as well. In 8 weeks, he stopped leaning against the rails, needed no help when the farrier picked up his feet for a trim, is eating like a champ again, is shedding out beautifully. This is the ninth week that he has been getting 1 scoop of Health-E 2x daily. He is walking completely normal - no sidewinding, no leaning, and actually trotting around the pasture with the herd. He will be 31 years old May 7th, 2022. He is one happy horse again and I am eternally grateful for this amazing, miracle product. I am so glad I did not stop giving it to him after a month. Once it kicked in - it was a pure blessing! Thank you so much for saving my old man, Cherokee!!
