Have a mini mare that has had issues every year about this time - mainly on her face - would rub all the time - little bald spots all over - have been dealing with this yearly for several years and came across this stuff so thought what the heck I will give it a try. She has been on it for over a week - hair is starting to grow back and i am not seeing anymore signs of hair loss. Will keep her on this all summer and will keep on hand.
Highly recomment - Worked great for my little girl
I have a mostly white paint and we have struggled with a variety of skin issues for the 7 years until we tried this product. We had such success that another horse in our barn, who had also tried multiple different remedies, is now using it with great success.
My Welsh pony started itching wary spring. She used to have a long full mane and tail. After a few days of itching it was half the thickness and certain areas were bald and bleeding. Poor pony was miserable. I read up and decided to cover her up as best I could. I went through two sheets and two hoods in 2 months every Sumer.
I live in CO so there was not a problem in the winter. During that time her mane and tail would start to grow back just In time foe another it h season. Then it started all over again. We went in like this foe about 4 or 5 seasons. I did some extensive research and found out about
Equine Medical and Surgical.
I ordered the spray and it worked like a charm. I had to really drench her scalp with it, but it was very effective. After using it for several years , I noticed last summer it wasn’t that effective as it used to be. So I ordered the oral supplement.
I just started her on it March 26. I’m giving her 1 scoop in the a.m.
It’s been like click work that in early April she starts itching. So far no itching.
I know that it is only the 15th, but I am very hopeful. It has not been as warm as usual this spring. At this time, she is a happy pony.
Adopted 20 yr old mini to join my lone reg. sized horse. Previous owner warned me that during warm weather he will rub out mane & tail. Due to previous, successful use of this product on another horse, I introduced it to Indie. He licks feed bowl to get every last drop. As season goes on I'm confident he will not have the itching issues.
This is the third summer it’s a miracle ☀️
