My horse gets terribly irritated by belly flys and will scratch and rub his mane and tail raw. I have used all kinds of products, topical and feed through supplements, nothing helped until I tried this ointment. It is so AWESOME! Stopped the itching, kept his belly from being raw with no hair and swollen. I use at least 2 jars every summer. It has made such a big difference. Love it and would recommend to anyone having belly fly issues.
Great products. It is the only thing that got rid of my TB mare's itchy, scabby underbelly breakouts. She now has a smooth, non itchy, bug free belly. If I should happen to notice any bumps, I rub some ointment on her and they are gone. I'm sure she is very appreciative. I know I am. Next year I will start using this in March in the hopes she won't have to deal with those itchy scabs at all. Thank you for your great products.
Highly recommend, this is the the only product I have tried that actually works, including products recommended by my vet, had punch biopsies done a few years ago on areas in my geldings stifle area, very sore and tender, loss of hair and scabbing, it was a proliferation of what we will call a yeast infection exacerbated by gnats. This product is working wonders. We are in the upstate of SC and summer heat always made it worse. Best it's been in years.
Colorado. My boy urinates inside his sheath (no dropping) and has had an itchy sheath for over 1.5 years that my vet has run out of ideas on how to treat. I couldn't afford to go down the road of expensive allergy testing. So, we started all SE products 21-days ago, and we have celebrated some positive changes with my horse's itchiness and overall happiness meter. I have been using the ointment after bathing on his itchy/swollen sheath and on bald skin spots that he has bitten to itch. Overall swelling, itching and smegma is down due to SE products and SMZ antibiotics currently. He really seems to like the ointment applied. Today I started to use it on chapped areas at the sheath opening (no bathing). I think I will continue to use the ointment externally like I would on any red, irritated, and chapped area of skin. Works super on eczyma. My mare was virtually bald last year. We put her on Eczyma supplement, MAP shampoo and Quad Ointment and she is looking andfeeling
