My 25 yr old QH mare is doing so well on Comfort Quik that it is just unbelievable. Joker was diagnosed with Lyme disease when younger and some days would be a little stiff which we assumed was due to the result of this disease along with arthritic changes and age. Over the past year her stiffness/lameness got progressively worse, so that some days she had great difficulty walking. She was on a daily dose of bute to try to ease the discomfort but it just wasn't doing enough. When I switched her to Comfort Quik, the change in her level of comfort and mobility was dramatic. The results that I have seen with this product continue to amaze me.
After a consult with Dr. Frank , I also started my 18 yr old Paint mare on Comfort Quik and Heiro. She is doing so well after foundering a few moths ago. She came to me with some soundness issues and is moving better now than she ever has in the 3 years that I have had her.
I am so happy to have found these products. I cannot believe how well my horses are doing. The customer service and support is outstanding. Thank you for everything you do!
When other folks tell me about their shipping woes, I wondered if my products (comfort quik & Heiro) would arrive on time. Nor only were they on time, they were early so my horses never missed a single serving! Thanks so much!!
I have a 27 year old DSLD mare that additionally has a pretty significant articular spur in a knee. I have only had the mare on the Comfort Quik for 16 days. The vet and farrier were out at the same time for another horse, and both kept remarking on how well this mare was getting around. This is probably the best this mare has walked in YEARS, and only on 16 days of the product!!
Only problem is ... she keeps escaping out the gate now that she gets around so well. LOL LOL I will have to be a tad more careful now!!
My 11-year old gelding tore his right hock ligament and a surgeon said nothing could be done about it. The surgeon said if the other ligament tears, I would have to euthanize my horse on the spot. I spoke with Dr. Frank who had helped me with a rescue who supposedly had Cushing's. Dr. Frank was more supportive and encouraging. He suggested that I use the Comfort Quik along with Equioxx. Within 20 days, there is a remarkable improvement in my horse comfort level and his movement. He definitely was walking much better.
Although I keep a hock boot on him, the swelling has gone down considerably. My boy has no trouble standing for the farrier now or resting his opposite leg. In fact, the other day he lifted the opposite leg and turned to scratch it. He was so steady. It has been six months now that we have been using CQ.
I have a 20-year old rescue who has terrible arthritis in his right hock and I'm going to start him on CQ. Then, last year another rescue had stringhalt surgery and I was told that she probably will develop arthritis in her hocks, so I'm going to get a jump on that. Three horses will be on CQ, another on Vitamin E and then still another on HEIRO!
Thank you Dr. Reilly and Staff. I appreciate all you folks do for horses.
