This salve combines antiseptic, soothing, and anti-inflammatory ingredients that help calm irritated skin while supporting overall skin health.

The formula contains chlorhexidine gluconate to help cleanse affected skin, hydrocortisone to reduce inflammation, and pramoxine HCl to soothe itching and discomfort. Citronella oil provides natural insect-repelling properties, helping discourage further insect exposure. The thick salve consistency allows targeted application to irritated areas such as the mane, tail base, or other sensitive skin regions.

IBH Salve
Before Application - Clean the affected skin area and remove excess dirt or debris before applying the salve.

Application - Apply a thin layer of EquiShield® IBH Salve directly to irritated or insect-affected areas as directed by your veterinarian.

General Guidelines - Avoid contact with the eyes or mucous membranes. For external use only and consult your veterinarian before beginning treatment.

IBH Spray
Before Application - Brush the horse to remove loose dirt and debris from the coat and affected skin areas.

Application - Spray EquiShield® IBH Spray directly onto affected areas or insect-prone skin as directed by your veterinarian.
