EquiShield® IBH Spray is a medicated topical formula designed to help manage insect bite hypersensitivity (IBH) in horses. This condition is caused by allergic reactions to biting insects and often results in itching, skin irritation, and inflammation. The spray combines antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, and soothing ingredients that help maintain skin health while reducing discomfort associated with insect bites.

The formula contains chlorhexidine gluconate to support antiseptic cleansing, hydrocortisone to help reduce inflammation, and pramoxine HCl to soothe itching. Citronella oil also helps naturally repel insects that may trigger irritation. The spray format allows for quick and even application, making it convenient for treating larger areas of the coat or skin where insect exposure is common.

Before Application

Brush the horse to remove loose dirt and debris from the coat and affected skin areas.

Application

Spray EquiShield® IBH Spray directly onto affected areas or insect-prone skin as directed by your veterinarian.
