EquiShield® FG Fly Guard Salve is a natural insect repellent formulated to help protect horses from biting flies, mosquitoes, gnats, and ticks. The thick salve consistency allows targeted application to sensitive areas where sprays may be difficult to use, including the face, ears, belly, and other areas prone to insect irritation. Before Application

Clean the area and remove excess dirt or debris from the horse’s coat or skin.

Application

Apply a small amount of salve directly to areas where insect protection is needed, such as the ears, face, belly line, or other exposed areas.

General Guidelines

Avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes. Reapply as needed during periods of heavy insect activity. For external use on horses only. Consult your veterinarian if irritation occurs.
