EquiShield® CK Salve is a medicated topical formula designed to support the management of dermatological conditions in horses, dogs, and cats. This antiseptic and antifungal salve contains chlorhexidine gluconate and ketoconazole, two well-known active ingredients used to help control bacterial and fungal organisms that may contribute to skin infections. The water-soluble base allows the salve to spread easily across affected areas while helping cleanse and protect the skin.

Skin infections caused by bacteria or fungi can lead to irritation, lesions, and discomfort in animals. EquiShield® CK Salve provides targeted topical support to help manage these conditions while supporting healthy skin recovery. The formula can be applied directly to affected areas and surrounding skin as directed by a veterinarian, making it a practical solution for localized dermatological care.

Active Ingredients:
Chlorhexidine Gluconate – 2% (Antiseptic)

Topical Application

Clean and dry the affected skin area before application. Using a gloved hand or applicator, apply a thin layer of salve directly to the affected area and gently rub into the skin and surrounding area.

Treatment Schedule

Apply once daily for 2–4 weeks or as directed by your veterinarian. Continue use until improvement is observed or as advised by your veterinary professional.
