EquiShield® CK HC Shampoo is a medicated cleansing formula designed to help manage dermatological conditions in horses, dogs, and cats. This veterinary-strength shampoo combines chlorhexidine gluconate, ketoconazole, and hydrocortisone to provide antiseptic, antifungal, and anti-inflammatory benefits. Together, these ingredients help control microorganisms that may contribute to skin infections while soothing irritated or inflamed skin.

The shampoo produces a rich lather that helps cleanse the coat and affected skin areas while supporting overall skin health. It is commonly used for conditions involving bacterial or fungal infections accompanied by inflammation, itching, or irritation. Active Ingredients:
Chlorhexidine Gluconate – 2%
Ketoconazole – 1%
Hydrocortisone – 1%

Topical Cleansing

Shake well before use. Wet the animal’s coat thoroughly with warm water and apply enough shampoo to create a rich lather.

Application

Massage the medicated shampoo into the hair coat and skin, ensuring good coverage of the affected areas. Allow the lather to remain on the coat for 5–10 minutes before rinsing thoroughly with clean water.

Treatment Schedule

For initial treatment, use 2–3 times weekly for up to 4 weeks. After improvement, reduce to once weekly or as directed by your veterinarian.
