EquiShield® CK HC Salve is a medicated topical formula designed to help manage dermatological conditions in horses, dogs, and cats. The combination of chlorhexidine gluconate, ketoconazole, and hydrocortisone provides antiseptic, antifungal, and anti-inflammatory activity that helps support healthy skin and manage infections associated with bacteria or fungi.

The thick salve base allows targeted application to affected areas such as lesions, irritated skin, or localized infections. By delivering active ingredients directly to the treatment area, EquiShield® CK HC Salve helps cleanse the skin, reduce inflammation, and support recovery from dermatological conditions when used as directed by a veterinarian.

Active Ingredients:
Chlorhexidine Gluconate – 2%
Ketoconazole – 1%
Hydrocortisone – 0.5%

Before Application

Clean and dry the affected skin area before applying the salve.

Application

Apply a thin layer of EquiShield® CK HC Salve directly to the affected skin and gently rub into the surrounding area as directed by your veterinarian.
