I'm giving it in winter just because it can't hurt to have good a Vitamin E supplement. I just started my horses on this 3 weeks ago...one horse with no noticeable problems and one with lameness issues due to an injury before I got him 4 months ago. Don't know anything about how he was injured. He is on Health-E and Comfort Quik. After 3 weeks on both supplements I think I finally see a lot less lameness in him. Hoping he keeps getting better.
